After a successful career in business-to-business technology sales, Jack made the transition into real estate to pursue a lifelong interest in helping people through one of life’s most important decisions.

Before joining Havenmore, Jack spent more than a decade with AutosByNelson, where he managed websites, digital advertising, and technology systems while building a reputation for outstanding customer service and strong sales results. His extensive background in consulting with clients, negotiating solutions, and understanding their unique needs gives him a distinct advantage when representing buyers and sellers throughout Southwest Virginia.

Born and raised in Ferrum, Jack has deep roots in the region and has spent many years working throughout Martinsville and Henry County. His appreciation for the area runs so deep that he purchased the home directly across the street from where he grew up. That lifelong connection provides clients with valuable local insight that goes beyond market statistics.

Jack is known for being an attentive listener who takes the time to understand exactly what his clients want before creating a strategy tailored to their goals. Outside of real estate, Jack enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, son-in-law, and two grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys fly fishing the Smith River for native brown trout, hunting, hiking, golfing, and cooking. He’s also the proud owner of a German Shorthaired Pointer named Waylon.

A fun fact about Jack is that his father coached football at Ferrum College for 33 years, winning four national championships. Even today, he remains one of the college’s most recognized and respected figures.
